The City launches streaming services Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV just over a year ago to wide acclaim including an award for innovation in government from the Alliance for Innovation. Streaming services enable people who do not subscribe to cable TV, but who have an internet connection, to stream online video to their television or devices such as personal computers, tablets and smart phones.

The ability to stream content from the City's cable TV station (KCLV2) was well received by the community. Available content on these devices include shows such as Hello Mayor, Access City Council, City Beat, and many others. Also offered is the ability to live stream KCLV, meaning the public can watch council meetings and events in real time. New features available from amazon were implemented to improve speed and relaibility of the service.

We are continuously working to improve our services and find new innovative solutions for the community. Please stay tuned for more exciting updates.
